156: Save Blackswarth Road Wood with Phil Sturgeon
Some things are so tiny yet so central that they matter more than giant things elsewhere. This is a paraphrased message I got from Phil Sturgeon, an ex-techie and founder of Protect Earth charity, …

I've been a fan of the podcast for a long time. He has the tricky chats with people beyond the simplistic black and white that plagues the conservation and outdoor space, and he often finds the middleground between country-interested townies and rural communities that is otherwise hard to find.

You should get a laugh out of this one, as we talk about some of the difficult parts of running a charity and how I get fed up with daft things armchair experts love to complain about. Then towards the end you can tell I'ma bit hangry from not eating between all the podcasts and radio interviews I've doing, because when he asked how young people can get involved with climate action I pretty much suggested armed revolution... 🙊🤷🏻‍♂️

I completely forgot about the video and barely looked at the camera, but if you want to watch me stare at the ceiling crack on!

The podcast is available in audio format in all the usual locations.
